Companions of the Red Fist [Monk}

"Why do we fight? To protect Home, and Family... To preserve Balance, and bring Harmony."

The Companions spend their time in spiritual contemplation and diligent martial practice in the quiet places around Azeroth.  However, the Companions of the Red Fist pride themselves on their combat skills and are always ready to serve as skilled fighters at a moment’s notice.  As such, they are often utilized as guards for monasteries or employed as escorts for the transportation of documents, dignitaries, or barrels of beer.  Recently the Companions have found themselves needed around more parts of Azeroth in these times of troubles—often teaming up with adventurers to take on bigger problems.

This set is a simple transmogrification for the Monk class; but I have found that sometimes the simpler the better.  The Worldbender's Waistband and the Mask help add a little bit of color into this set--just enough to where the overall outfit isn’t seen as too dull.  Grab your friends and travel to Hellfire Citadel in the jungles of Tanaan to work on attaining a good portion of these armor looks if you don't already have them--and take time to enjoy the splendors of Winterspring, the land of perpetual winter, for some other items on this list (bring a scarf).

Mask of the Hurricane's Eye (Kormrok - Normal Hellfire Citadel)
Shy Shrug (Quest - Shy-Rotam in Winterspring)
Vest of the Smoking Pit (Quest- A Bird of Legend in Winterspring)
Sludge-Resistant Waders (Kormrok - Normal Hellfire Citadel)
Ironpelt Mitts (Tyrant Velhari - Normal Hellfire Citadel)
Worldbender's Waistband (Ra-den - Throne of Thunder 10N)
Griftah's Authentic Troll Shoes (Ravika - Darkspear Quartermaster)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.

Highmountain Tauren May Be Closer Than We Think!

"The Highmountain Tauren are an offshoot of Tauren found in the region of Highmountain on the Broken Isles. Divided into four tribes (Highmountain, Rivermane, Skyhorn and Bloodtotem), they are the direct descendants of the Tauren led by Huln Highmountain who assisted the Kaldorei Resistance during the War of the Ancients.  During the war, Huln received a blessing from Cenarius, so that his people would forever have the demigod's favor, granting them the Horns of Eche'ro: moose-like antlers." --Wowpedia

If you are like me, you are very excited that the Highmountain Tauren are to be a playable Horde race!  The addition of a different type of Tauren culture is a big thing for many of us.  Not only does it signal the growth of a game we love but also gives us a bit wider world in which to immerse ourselves in—different cultures or, sub-races as they were called back in the day, add a new and exciting dimension in the world of Azeroth.

While there has been a lot of speculation as to when we will be able to have our very own moose-antlered Tauren, we do know a couple of things listed below.  While you may already know about these its still a fun thing to go over to get your excitement level up.

Happy Feast of Winter's Veil

The Feast of Winter's Veil is upon us!  In addition to the gifts that Greatfather Winter will be giving us there is the Globe Yeti to get as well--found in the snowglobe in Orgrimmar during the Feast of Winter Veil in-game event. The Globe Yeti runs very quickly and can be tricky to engage into battle. The respawn timer is roughly 30 minutes and already there are plenty of campers so best of luck getting this cute pet!

Toys that most likely will be found under the Christmas Tree this year are the Hearthstation toy--a new and improved Hearthstone game, and the Toy Weapon Set--which should be a lot of fun!  Make sure to check under the tree after Christmas for your toys!

Have a happy and safe season of mirth this year...don't forget to don your festive hat!

Odyn's Chosen [ Warrior ]

"For Odyn!"

The Chosen of Odyn are few but don't let their small numbers fool you--they more than make up it on the battlefield.  Brutal, savage, and valor-bound; the Chosen are the sword of the mightiest of the Titan-forged and ready for battle anytime and anywhere.  Prepared against the day that Yogg-Saron's escapes his prison the Chosen a powerful army ready for battle at a moment's notice.

This set can be farmed exclusively in the current expansion (Legion) and is collected by running various dungeons.  The transmogrification is somewhat monochromatic but still looks good on a Tauren warrior especially with a weapon that stands out.  For those that have been playing Legion for a while you may already have this set.

Crown of Ash (Ash'golm - Vault of the Wardens)
Mortar Guard Shoulderplates (Tirathon Saltheril - Vault of the Wardens)
Breastplate of Preservation (Oakheart - Darkheart Thicket)
Rook Footman's Legplates (Lord Kur'talos Ravencrest - Black Rook Hold)
Rumblestone Gauntlets (Dargrul - Neltharion's Lair)
Magmacrusher's Girdle (Ash'golm - Vault of the Wardens)
Dignitary's Traveling Cloak (Relinquished Cloak - Thaumaturge Vashreen)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.

Riven Priestess [ Priest ]

"The Shadow calls...do you hear it?"

A blind eye is given to those who work with the Shadow; tolerated in Netherlight Temple and whispered about in the corners of well-lit halls.  The Shadow Priest, however, understands the need for balance while delving headfirst into the Shadow for in the Shadow there is power.

Ever since I first started getting the Riven cloth gear I was enthralled.  It looked nice, especially for a Shadow Priest, and I wanted to see if I could incorporate part of the set into a nice looking transmogrification.  There were a few things that needed to be changed, obviously, but the overall effect is something demonic and dark yet forged in the Light...an interesting blend.  As a note, the gloves have a lot of different lookalikes and can be found all over Draenor...the glove model is not unique.

As an important note: the helm only looks good on the female model.

Riven Priesthood Cap (Relinquished Hood - Thaumaturge Vashreen)
Riven Priesthood Amice (Relinquished Spaulders - Thaumaturge Vashreen)
Raiment of the Ternion Glory (Heroic Vendor in Shrine of Two Moons)
Anruin's Grips of Agony (World Drop - Draenor)
Wild Combatant's Cord of Cruelty (Warlords Season 2 PvP - 1 Mark of Honor)
Inherited Cape of the Black Baron (Heirloom)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.  Additionally, don't worry about the pants or shoes (though I recommend wearing them!).

The Brute [Warrior]

"The Horde will be victorious...or die trying."

Often mocked for their lack of magical powers; the Brutes of the Horde do not listen to fools.  They know that in the heat of battle against their adversaries it is the strength of their arm, the temper of their blades, and the size of their heart that matters.  Rushing headfirst into battle is their calling and to live or die for the Horde is the greatest accomplishment this group of soldiers believe in--Slay the enemy, take their stuff, rinse, repeat.

I chose to not have a helm show on this transmogrification for two reasons: first, the gear follows part of the fantasy of the class by epitomizing brute force and berserk rage (and the lack of regard for proper head protection in combat), and two, I couldn't find a helm I liked with this outfit.  You can choose if you want to see your Tauren's head while playing or find a helm that you actually like (for plate items it is difficult sometimes with the Tauren model).

No Helm (Turn it off at the Transmogrifier)
Blackrock Pauldrons (Level 2 War Mill in your Garrison)
Vicious Pyrium Breastplate (Crafted)
Vicious Pyrium Legguards (Crafted)
Vicious Pyrium Guantlets(Crafted)
Girdle of Bound Agony (Soulbound Construct - Normal Hellfire Citadel)
Blackrock Greaves (Level 2 War Mill in your Garrison)
Cloak of the Burning Vanguard (Garothi Worldbreaker - Normal Antorus)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.

Happy Pilgrim's Bounty!

Its time to feast upon such delights as Spice Bread Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, Cranberry Chutney, Candied Sweet Potato, and Slow-Roasted Turkey!

It is also that time of year to finish up those Pilgrim's Bounty achievements as you work towards that Violet Proto-Drake and collect two pets (Turkeys...of course) and even a toy if you haven't done so already.  While there are no new items for this year's holiday; you can still enjoy flinging food (or eating it) with your friends and loved ones as we celebrate the season of sharing and food together.

The holiday will end on November 27...so you still got some time.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Paladin)

"The demons shall suffer greatly--even Sargeras will shake in terror."

For some reason I thought that the Paladin set would look more...imposing (and perhaps look a little more like something a Paladin would wear).  There are some wonderful items in this transmog but the set as a whole is somewhat lacking--Perhaps it is the color scheme.  However, that being said the overall details of this transmogrification are quite stunning and overall it is still a beautiful set.

The set is for the last remaining PvP seasons for Legion and can be easily acquired through the PvP world quests around the Broken Shore.  Simply check the PvP World Quests everyday and group up to destroy the Alliance to get parts of your set.  Make sure to group up because it makes the world quest that much easier.

This is the last of the Patch 7.3 Transmog Set series for Taurens and next week we will once again start looking at unique and interesting transmogs for your Tauren as he or she conquers Argus and the Burning Legion and prepares for all out war with the Alliance in the next expansion.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Hunter)

"The Naga are no longer a concern for us..."

Kudos to Blizzard for making a good looking hunter outfit!  While it does look like we stole the armor from various Naga around the world; this transmogrification has a wonderful feel for hunters for any specialization.  All of the pieces, especially the gauntlets and the shoulders, work well for this class and help add a dangerous feel to a class that has been sorely lacking in good armor the past several expansions.  I look forward to incorporating some of these items into future transmogs.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Warrior)

"Now we hear the drums of war."

This transmogrification has one amazing feature that blows the rest out of the water: the boots.  While normally footwear for Taurens is hit or miss (usually miss) this set's boots really stand out.  Overall, this set is quite nice especially the shoulders and the hands and the whole set together makes a statement of ferocity and power.  The set looks like a warrior of the Horde.

For the Horde!

It doesn't get more epic than this cinematic shown at BLIZZCON this weekend; the battle between the Horde and Alliance is front and center with the new expansion:  Battle for Azeroth.  If this trailer doesn't get your blood pumping I don't know what will...or perhaps you are just Forsaken and have no blood at all.

From the information provided by the panels, the cinematic, and the expansion reveal we can look forward to numerous items for our transmogrification purposes.

PvP Inspired

With the clash between us and them we can most likely expect some epic PvP set items to come along our way.  With the announcement that Blizzard would keep the current World Quest system in play it should be relatively easy to get PvP gear than past expansions.  Additionally, World PvP and other activities will make sure we can get some of the armor to make our Taurens look their best.

Troll-Theme

Since we are traveling to Troll islands we can probably expect some Troll-themed armor and weapons.  While this may be perfect for our buddies the Trolls; us Tauren may have a bit of work ahead of us (or perhaps not, Troll themed items are actually pretty sweet--just look at the current Tier for Shamans).

Speaking of Weapons...

Our Artifact Weapons that we have been working on for so long will be lost or given up in exchange for new weapons.  While we do not know for sure if we can keep the skins for later transmog we should rejoice over this news. This adds a whole new level to our transmogrification abilities and one that will be echoed here when the expansion comes out when I start to add weapons with the different sets created.

Highmountain Tauren

Add yet even more for us Taurens to be excited about!  Highmountain Taurens will become a playable race that we will be able to unlock.  This adds a totally new dimension for us all as well as some sweet, sweet ideas for transmogrification down the road.

You can get more information on the new expansion from around the web; but Icy Veins does a wonderful job listing out some of the information we gleaned from the Q&A.  You can check the list on their post Battle for Azeroth Live Q/A from Blizzcon 2017.

Happy Hallow's End

Taurens enjoy a good holiday and what is better than a holiday that celebrates with candy!  Happy Hallow's End from all of us here at Transmog for Taurens.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Monk)

"The wise monk knows that a tomato is a fruit."

It may just be the helm, but this transmogrification for the PvP gear doesn't do it for me.  While it looks okay on Tauren it works much better on Pandaran...but then, not everything works well for the Tauren body shape and build.  The shoulders and especially the gloves are the best part of this set and, with some work, will fit nicely into other tranmog sets.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Priest)

"The Light heal you...now go out and kill some more demons"

Simplistic in design yet still amazing; the PvP Priest transmogrification is quite nice...the best part, in my opinion, being the helm.  The helm works well with the Priest Order Hall set and could be used for any number of striking priest outfits.  While the shoulders are reminiscent of previous tier outfits (something that for many of the newer outfits in this patch is normal) there are still many interesting bits to this outfit that ensure many, many transmogrification ideas in the future.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Shaman)

"Yeah, I got some totems..."

Overall; I love the shaman PvP gear.  While it does look best on a Troll, the look on the Tauren isn't all that bad and very unique.  A different helm could possibly be used, but in the end, the Fierce Gladiator set for the Tauren works out quite well for all specs of the Shaman class.  The shoulders are, by far, my absolute favorite and could possibly be used in other transmogrification sets in the future...and those gloves!

Finding a suitable weapon appearance might be of some difficulty, but that is the price to pay for a truly magnificent transmog.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Death Knight)

"We are Death, and death comes to all of our enemies."

I am not sure if I like the look of this outfit.  While there are some interesting pieces to this gear; the overall effect is underwhelming for a Death Knight--or perhaps there is too much going on with this look which is more suited for a Blood Death Knight.  I think that with different shoulders, a different helm, and perhaps even a different belt will help make the base of this set something quite interesting.

Patch 7.3 Transmog Sets : Fierce Gladiator (Druid)

"RAWR!"

I like the feeling that this set gives and it looks wonderful on Taurens--I think it is one of my favorites in this patch.  The general feel of this outfit evokes nature and ferocity which is what many people think when they hear the word "druid" in World of Warcraft (especially for those in feral form).  While this set is totally appropriate for Guardian Druids, it can be effectively used for the other specs as well--with or without modifications or alternate items.

I am sure that parts of this PvP set can easily be used for other outfit creations in the future for all Tauren druids so expect to see parts of this set in future posts.

Patch 7.3: Argus and Beyond

Patch 7.3 finished up last week with the third and final chapter of the Argus Campaign.  With many people stating that not only is this the last major patch of Legion but that we also have eight weeks until the Raid opens; this may leave many Taurens feeling very sad.  Don't worry, though, there is still plenty to do while we wait for the new Raid to open.

Transmog Items

Patch 7.3 gives us access to some wicked-looking transmog gear that we all should be working on collecting.  Over the next several weeks I will be looking at the sets as they relate to Taurens in a special series on this blog.  However, not only is there wearable items to collect but there are also weapons out there in the Invasion Points...so make sure to do those Invasions so that you can get the weapons to transmog in the future.  The weapons don't always drop, so just keep doing them until you get what you want/need.

Mounts

There are a slew of mounts to collect, not only in this patch but the expansion as a whole.  Mounts include Reputation Mounts and some random drops.  From Golems to Mana Rays and Talbuks, and several other spectacular ones in between; this is a great time to go searching for more mounts to add to your ever-growing collection.

Pets

Some of us like to find a battle pet that works seamlessly with our new outfits; and there are plenty of pets out there to choose from.  There are new tamable hunter pets (mana rays, talbuks, new cat's, and marsuuls) and a variety of interesting and unique battle pets to find as well.

Artifact Power

With the introduction of the Netherlight Crucible it is, once again, time to start acquiring more Artifact Power so that your Relics can be updated quickly which roughly equates to surviving a bit longer on Argus while you are looking for things you still need.

Eagle Rider [ Hunter ]

"To soar with the eagles is the greatest honor of all."

The Eagle Riders, the newest conscripts for the fight against the Legion, tend to the eagles which help in many of the battles not only on the Broken Isles, but the Broken Shore as well.  Known to be reclusive and somewhat odd, these hunters have taken it upon themselves to protect Azeroth alongside their feathered allies no matter what the cost.

This transmogrification came from my desire to find an outfit that incorporated the some of the Eagletalon Battlegear set with other items found throughout the game--the helm and other parts of the set did not go well with me.  However, the end result emphasizes the shoulders and gauntlets and keeps a good theme overall.  Some of these items may be hard to find, but in the end, the transmog that you end up with is sure to turn a few heads in Dalaran.

Formidable Circlet (Drop in Winterspring or Un'Goro Crater)
Eagletalon Spaulders (Tichondrius in LFR Nighthold)
Brvet's Hauberk of Command (Drop from rare mob Captain Brvet in Stormheim)
Locust Swarm Legguards (Revered with Klaxxi, Sold by Ambersmith Zikk in Dread Waste)
Gauntlets of Malevolent Intent (Il'gynoth in LFR Emerald Nightmare)
Vintage Duskwatch Cinch (Random drop in The Nighthold)
Sabatons of Radiating Ire (Drop in Tanaan Jungle)
Azurewing Defender's Drape (Drop in Azsuna)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.

Grove Tender [ Druid ]

"Fortune favors the bold; but the bold favor a good healer."

With the battle raging between the Legion and the Armies of Light a call has gone out for not only those who are able to fight but also for those who are able to heal.  With the battle raging many who would not normally be called into battle now flock to aid the armies that protect the lands of Azeroth.  The Grove Tenders, traditionally chosen to tend for sacred groves and the animals of the forest, have been called into service.

The idea for this transmogrification was to try to keep it simple.  Many of my other outfits are quite showy or extravagant.  The Sanctified Lasherweave pieces were the base, but I do not like the model of the shoulders or the helm and came up with different solutions.  With a green-tinted G'Hanir; this transmogrification will look amazing.

Snowdrift Helm (Purchased in Townlong Steppes in Pandaria)
Hell-Hoot Mantle (Quest: A Bird of Legend in Winterspring)
Sanctified Lasherweave Robes (Token Drop in ICC 25 Heroic)
Sanctified Lasherweave Gauntlets (Token Drop in ICC 25 Heroic)
Professor's Bloodied Smock (Professor Putricide in ICC 25 Heroic)
Drape of the Unworthy (Helya in Trial of Valor)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers or footwear are needed.

A Look at the Appearances Set Tab from Patch 7.2

It has been a week now since the new patch brought us some new items.  One of these, the Transmogrification Set panel, was actually quite interesting and something we didn't have to wait several weeks for.

This tool is perfect for completionists who want to collect all of the available appearances from past expansion raids and PvP seasons.  The Sets panel not only shows you the entire set gear from Molten Core all the way up to Tomb of Sargeras raids, but tells you if the items can be found from a vendor or in a raid or dungeon.

Overall, I find the new tab a fun thing to look at as I take the flight taxi to the next destination in the Broken Isles.  I can use it to get excited about upcoming raid sets or even to laugh at the old school sets that were considered the best back in the day.

What do you think of the new Appearances Tab?

Are You Prepared for Patch 7.2: The Tomb of Sargeras

World of Warcraft's Patch 7.2 is due on March 28th, 2017.  It won't be long now until we can return to the Broken Shore and wreck havoc with the Legion and save Azeroth.  Are you prepared?

With the new patch comes several new and exciting features:

  • The Order Hall campaign continues which will unlock a new follower and class specific World Quests.
  • New "Gold Dragon" traits for your artifact weapon
  • New Zone: Broken Shore
  • New Faction: Armies of Legionfall
  • New Raid: The Tomb of Sargeras
  • New Dungeon: Cathedral of the Eternal Night
  • Upper and Lower Kharazan will be available in Heroic in the Dungeon Finder
  • Court of Stars will be available in Heroic in the Dungeon Finder
  • The Arcway will also be available in Heroic in the Dungeon Finder
  • Armor and toys purchasable with nethershards
  • Demon Assaults make completing World Quests a bit more interesting but apparently these will happen sometime after the official launch of the patch.
  • Twenty three new mounts mostly associated with your character's class.  The Class Mounts will be locked behind an eleven-week quest chain so don't expect to get the mounts on Tuesday.
  • New PvP season
  • The Brawl feature which changes up some favored battlegrounds
  • Pet Battle dungeons
  • Artifact Trials which give you a new appearance for your artifact
  • Last, but not least, flying will be made available after completing Pathfinder Part Two

Those are the most significant and most talked about, but there is so much more coming out in the next patch!
  • You will be able to craft legendaries
  • Legendaries will be more balanced
  • Two new tiers of Order Hall upgrades
  • Artifact Knowledge will be capped at 50
  • Tab targeting should work better
  • Paragon Reputation Caches which can award gear, mounts, or artifact power

  • Crafted gear is now ilvl 835
  • The Obliterum Forge is easily obtainable without the long and expensive quest chain
  • New World Quests added
  • Nomi might give you prepared ingredients while burning your food
  • New animations and spell effects for some classes
  • New Sets tab in your transmog panel that shows what sets you have and don't have
  • Various PvP  gear appearances are returning, mostly from Burning Crusade and Wrath
  • and Prestige will be easier to obtain with levels costing 50% less honor.

How exciting!  It almost feels like a new expansion is coming out.  What are you most excited for?

Wild Gladiator [ Druid ]

"Death to our enemies...tear them apart!"

When it comes to ferocity on the battlefield, the druids have it covered.  Channeling the feral power of the predator to quickly slay their targets, the feral druid is easily feared by many of the Alliance.  Dressing in the skins of the Sabermaw invokes the spirit of those dread predators and gives power to the druid.

Today we look at the complete set for the Wild Gladiator, found in Ashran in the last expansion.  This set is barbaric, brutal, and quite stylish for those who wish to add a bit of brutal terror on the battlefield.  The set can be easily obtained with Marks of Honor, which as stated in other transmog sets I have posted, are quite easy to obtain.

Wrathful Gladiator's Dragonhide Helm (Three Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Pauldrons (Two Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Tunic (Three Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Legguards (Three Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Grips (Two Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Belt of Victory (Two Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Boots of Victory (Two Marks of Honor)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.  You may add a cloak if you like but I found it looks best without one or with a small tatterd cloak...your choice.

Acolyte of the White Tiger [ Monk ]

"White Tiger watch over us."

Those monks who study and learn the secrets of the White Tiger train hard and with such devotion that even the famed acolytes of the Red Crane pale in comparison.  The White Tiger is strength and ferocity tempered by wisdom and compassion and his acolytes exemplify this philosophy.

The transmogrification set started off with the shoulders which I really liked.  Moving on through the outfit it was apparent that only beaten gold accents, such as found in the gloves and the kilt, worked quite well.  The helm, sadly, really only works well with female Tauren and the red found on the helm was the inspiration for the belt which helps tie in the entire outfit together.  Most items can be found in Siege of Ogrimmar and can only be obtained with your monk--so get out there and start farming!

Darkfang Mask (Earthbreaker Haromm - Heroic Siege of Ogrimmar)
Hopeglow Spaulders (Garrosh Hellscream - Siege of Ogrimmar)
Decorated Deathstalker Jerkin (Quest: Fate of the Queen's Reprisal - Azsuna)
Wound Dressing (Purchased in Dalaran at First Aid Shop)
Shado-Pan Reliquary Kilt (Pandaran Spoils - Heroic Siege of Ogrimmar)
Crimson Gauntlets of Death (Drop - Siege of Ogrimmar)
Waistclasp of Unethical Power (Drop - The Nighthold)
Scrupleless Bracers (Quest: Pierce Their Heart! - Ashenvale)

Surprise!  I've added bracers this time, but you don't need footwear.

Wrathful Gladiator [ Warrior ]

"The battle is never done; not with those Alliance dogs who keep trying to nip at the wolves."

For a warrior of the Horde, death and destruction are always right around the corner.  These stalwart defenders take the battle directly to the Alliance to defend the Horde and their very way of life from an enemy that wants to utterly destroy them.

The Wrathful Gladiator set, found in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, was a set that I always envied--so I've made a transmogrification for it with only two minor changes; the belt needed to be changed and I added a cloak.  The belt that came with this battleset wasn't visually strong enough and I chose another belt that was still easy to find.  Cloak are not always important but I added a one to this transmogrification that has the same basic colors of the outfit.  The PvP sets are extremely easy to get nowadays as the tokens to purchase them are account-bound and there is always at least one PvP World Quest in Legion that offers Marks of Honor as a reward.

Wrathful Gladiator's Plate Helm (Three Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Plate Shoulders (Two Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Plate Chestpiece (Three Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Plate Legguards (Three Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Plate Gauntlets (Two Marks of Honor)
Titan-forged Girdle of Triumph (Two Marks of Honor)
Wrathful Gladiator's Greaves of Triumph (Two Marks of Honor)
Splashcover Cloak (Kormrok - Hellfire Citadel)

Like with most Tauren transmogrifications; no bracers are needed.

Child of the Flame [ Shaman ]

"The flame comforts but it also destroys...nature defined in such a simple thing."

One of the first shaman groups to enter the Firelands to help end the reign of Ragnaros; the Children of the Flame set out to destroy the corruption of the element of fire.  In this dangerous element these shamans understand the duality of fire, both as a creator and as a destroyer--while fire can create civilizations, it is fire than can consume them as well.  Successfully wielding fire is power and to fail means certain death.

I have been a fan of the Fearless Gladiator set when I first saw it come out in Season Two of the Legion PvP except for the chest and the helm.  By incorporating another set, in this case the Battlebound Set, the two seem to meld quite nicely in this transmogrification.  This set goes along with the other element-themed shaman outfits and can only be found in Legion with the exception of the helm.

Crown of Flame (Ragnaros - Firelands)
Fearless Gladiator's Ringmail Spaulders (Legion Season Two PvP)
Battlebound Hauberk (Leatherworking)

Serpent's Will [Monk]

"The Jade Serpent brings life...I bring death."

The destruction of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms have left many monks devastated.  While the desire for revenge was tempered by the Celestials it was only a matter of time before something pushed the normally peaceful protectors further.  With the wanton destruction of the sacred sites of the Pandaran monks by the Burning Legion it is time to take the fight to the demons.  While some monks focus on healing and meditation; others have taken a more practical approach to the battle at hand.

As I am now working on leveling up my monk I figured it was time to give some more love to the monk class.  Traditionally, monks have been peaceful and not quick to a fight so I wanted something that would be deadly looking to challenge the status quo.  The PvP gear has never been easier to get as the tokens are account bound.  The only hard part to get might be the girdle as it may take some time for it to drop.  As a note, the belt matches the color of the Jade Serpent animations from the shoulders.

Acidic Jaws (Oregorger - Normal Blackrock Foundry)
Prideful Gladiator's Copperskin Spaulders (Pandaria - Two Marks of Honor)
Warmongering Combatant's Ironskin Tunic (Warspear - Three Marks of Honor)
Warmongering Combatant's Ironskin Legguards (Warspear- Three Marks of Honor)
Warmongering Combatant's Ironskin Gloves (Warspear - Two Marks of Honor)
Eyeripper Girdle (Drop in Normal Highmaul)
Treads of the Dark Hunt (Boss Drop in Normal Blackrock Foundry)
Yal's Leafwrap Cloak (Grove Warden Yal in Gorgrond)

Son of Durotan [ Shaman ]

"I welcome the Wolf-Brother in you"

A powerful group of warrior-shamans calling themselves the Sons of Durotan frequently raid the Alliance opposition in Alterac Valley.  The Sons wreck havoc on those who defile the sacred valley which is the resting place of their hero, Durotan.  Honoring the power of Durotan's wolf with ferocity and cunning; these soldiers of Alterac have since struck out from the valley and gather together to defeat the Legion--a task they thoroughly enjoy almost as much as killing Alliance soldiers.

This set started off with the acquisition of the shoulders which I immediately fell in love with.  From there, putting the pieces together was an easy task except for the helm which I have fallen back on an old favorite.  I have not included a cloak in this transmog, but any that have white with dark coloring will do well.  Additionally, my own personal transmogrification has the artifact weapons look like the Garden Sickles ( acquired from your Garrison in Draenor) which looks awesome with the rest of the outfit.

Mask of the Speaker (Shaman Quest: Slaves of the Firelord)
Thundercrush Pauldrons (Wrath of Azshara - Eye of Azshara)
Chestguard of Inscrutability (Quest: Elementary! in Mount Hyjal)
Spiritwalker's Legguards (Alizabal - Baradin Hold)
Marauding Grips of Hrafsir (Quest: Wings of Liberty in Stormheim)
Belt of the Blood Nova (Deathbringer's Cache - Heroic Icecrown Citadel)
Runesworn Boots (Quest: Regal Remains - Stormheim)

Fel-Touched Shadow [ Priest ]

"Without the Void there is no Light"

The Shadow Priest slowly succumbs to insanity by harnessing the energy of the Void--a small price to pay for awesome powers.  The Shadow Priest knows that without darkness there can be no light, without insanity there can be no sanity.  While most Taurens shun the powers of darkness there are few who celebrate the Void in the darkened corners of Mulgore and work to preserve the balance of light and dark.

Purple is the main color usually associated with Shadow Priests; but by adding a touch of green we bring them into the Legion expansion quite nicely.  The mantle, the robes, and even the belt can also be found in the treasures available when completing the Shipyard quests in your Warlord's Garrison.  It may take a while, but doing those quests alongside group runs through Hellfire Citadel may help you get these items quickly.

Mantle of Unrestrained Contempt (Tyrant Velhari - Hellfire Citadel)
Robes of Necrotic Whispers (Brackenspore - Highmaul)
Cobalt-Threaded Gloves (Quest: Corrosion Prevention in Dustwallow Marsh)
Phantasmal Cummerbund (Shadow-Lord Iskar - Hellfire Citadel)
Whitewater Safety Blanket (Quest: Moozy's Adventure in Highmountain)

No head, bracers, pants, or feet are needed with this transmog.

Jade Mist [ Monk ]

"The Jade Serpent is my guide, and the mists of Pandaria are my power"

Training for a long time in the monasteries of Pandaria; the monk becomes a master at not only delivering fatal blows to their opponents but also healing their allies as well.  Channeling the powers of the mist is a time consuming study but a skill that ultimately is vital to the world of Azeroth as champions face menace after terrifying menace in order to protect the world.

Transmogrification is best when you mix things up a bit.  I usually start with the shoulders and work out from there.  The shoulders might be a bit difficult to get but well worth it.  All of the other items will be easy comparatively.  While I used this certain cloak, anything with a bit of red in it to help visually connect the boots and belt can be used.  Alternatively, no helm is really needed with this transmog considering most of them do not go with the overall outfit.

The real magic of this transmogrification comes when the shoulders flare up: the medallions come out with a blue-green tinted mist and greenish flame dances on the arms when the medallions go back in.  Its breathtaking.

Runic Leather Headband (Leatherworking - 290 skill)
Flamebender's Shoulderguards (Flamebender Ka'graz - Mythic Blackrock Foundry)
Skarvald's Dragonskin Habergeon (Boss Drop in Utgarde Keep)
Shaggy Wyrmleather Leggings (Scourgelord Tyrannus - Pit of Saron)
Heart Grippers (Quest: Doin' De E'ko Magic in Winterspring)
Grievous Gladiator's Waistband of Cruelty (1 Mark of Honor in Mists of Pandaria)
Warhide Footpads (Leatherworking - 700 skill)
Giant's Handkerchief (Drop from Drugon the Frostblood in Legion)

No bracers are needed with this transmog.

Patch 7.1.5 is Here!

The new patch is here, and while we do not have access to flying yet there are several things to be excited about.

Micro Holidays.  If you like holidays as much as I do we have a lot to celebrate!  Now we can participate in a number of smaller events such as Hatching of the Hippogryphs, Spring Balloon Festival, and the Thousand Boat Bash.  Check the ingame calendar for when the events start.

Brawler's Guild.  The Brawler's Guild is always fun.  It is a way to test you skill and ability.  Besides some more shirts to grab there is also a battle pet available as well.  Look for your invitation in Emissary bags or by duking it out with the elite vrykul of Shield’s Rest in Stormheim

Mists of Pandaria Timewalking.  I love the timewalking events--its a chance to get to go back to some fun dungeons.  However, the most exciting part is what to do with those tokens.  Two new toys, two new pets, and a mount will be available.  Its also a chance to get some of those transmog items you may have missed.

Alt Artifact Knowledge Help.  Visit your Artifact Knowledge researcher in your Class Order Hall to purchase Artifact Knowledge to send to your alts to help level them up quicker.  The purchase is for 1000 resources and can quickly level up your alts knowledge up to level 20.

Still no flying, but we have the next patch to look forward to for that.

Ogrimmar Champion [ Warrior ]

The people of Ogrimmar look up to me...so yeah, I got that going for me which is nice."

Protecting the capital city of the Horde is a honor for many heroes.  Many have withstood the Alliance assaults on the city with ferocity and cunning over the years; adding to the word-fame of the Horde while not usually travelling very far from home.  It is these, the champions of the city, that songs are sung about by the common man in the taverns around Ogrimmar.

A mix of Wrath of the Lich King and Warlords of Draenor is possible, and what comes out is quite interesting to look at.  Getting these items requires a bit of work in the Trial of the Crusader as well as playing around in Warlords...a bit of work if you don't have these items already but not dreadfully boring as you wait for the next patch in the current expansion.  This lightweight transmogrification looks a bit rustic and barbaric; a vision of the Horde that has persevered throughout the expansions.

As an interesting note, Baine Bloodhoof wears this belt which seems to have the Horde symbol on it.

Vicious Pyrium Helm (Blacksmithing - 525 skill)
Sunreaver Defender's Pauldrons (Champions' Cache - Trial of the Crusader 10N)
Blackrock Chestplate (Level 2 Warmill in the Garrison)
Blackrock Legplates (Level 2 Warmill in the Garrison)
Gauntlets of Bitter Reprisal (Anub'arak - Trial of the Crusader 25N)
Belt of the Impaler (Gormok the Impaler - Trial of the Crusader)
Lunarlight Plate Stompers (Quest: Circle the Wagon in Warlord's Shadowmoon Valley)
Grizzled Wolfskin Cloak (Grizzlemaw - Warlord's Nagrand)
